What We’ll Explore

The Invisible Thread: Moving Beyond Technical Perfection with Sapna Reddy A technically perfect photograph may catch the eye, but what makes an image stay with us? In this webinar, acclaimed landscape photographer and physician Sapna Reddy explores the invisible thread that connects the elements of a photograph into a meaningful visual story. Moving beyond technical execution, she examines how intention, emotion, and narrative shape the way we experience an image—and how photographers can create work that resonates long after the first viewing. Drawing on her unique perspective at the intersection of art and science, Sapna will explore how to look beyond the individual elements of a scene to discover the relationships that give an image its deeper meaning. From recognizing subtle visual connections to developing a more personal artistic voice, this conversation invites photographers to think more deliberately about what they create and why. Whether you photograph landscapes, intimate details in nature, or expansive wilderness, The Invisible Thread offers an opportunity to reconsider the role of storytelling in your work and explore how technical skill can become a foundation for something more expressive. Join us for a thoughtful exploration of visual storytelling, creative intention, and the qualities that transform a well-made photograph into a memorable one.
