Submit a Pitch to Nature Vision Magazine

Nature Vision is a reflective, image-centered magazine exploring the creative, personal, and emotional side of nature photography. We welcome thoughtful pitches connected to our upcoming issue themes, especially from photographers and writers whose work feels aligned with the magazine’s tone and purpose.
Nature Vision is carefully curated around each issue’s theme, pacing, and visual rhythm. Submitting a pitch does not guarantee acceptance, and we may not be able to respond to every submission individually. If your idea seems like a strong fit, we’ll contact you to discuss next steps.

Issue 13 - Summer 2026

The Source of the Image

The Source of the Image explores the many places creativity begins. We’re interested in thoughtful, visually driven pieces that reflect on where photographic work comes from, whether through intuition, memory, discipline, limitation, obsession, place, grief, sensory experience, ritual, or something harder to define. Rather than offering simple advice about creativity, we’re looking for honest, personal, and original perspectives that reveal how images take shape in a photographer’s life and practice.

Before you submit

Please take a few minutes to review a sample or recent issue before sending a pitch. This will help you get a sense of the magazine’s voice, pacing, and editorial approach.
We are most interested in work that reveals something about how photography shapes the way we see, feel, question, respond, and create.

A good fit:
Reflective essays, personal creative process, meaningful bodies of work, image-centered storytelling, emotional or philosophical connections to nature photography.

Probably not a fit:
Gear reviews, camera settings, location guides, trip reports, heavily location-based articles, SEO-style articles, generic inspirational writing, or promotional work.
